Farmington New Mexico Real Estate Information

Gibby Wood and Charlie Todd

Located in San Juan County in Northwestern New Mexico, Farmington is in the heart of the Four Corners. We are about three hours Northwest of Albuquerque. Our airport is the second busiest in New Mexico. We have connecting flights to Albuquerque, Denver and Phoenix. Area attractions include Chaco Cultural National Historic Monument, Aztec Ruins National Monument, Mesa Verde National Park, Durango and Silverton Narrow gauge Railroad.

History and culture fuse together in a mix of places and events. Farmington is a friendly town, where shop owners and townspeople still have time for a warm greeting and conversation. We extend such a greeting and a sincere welcome.

Copyright 1999 - Dale W. AndersonFarmington is the meeting place of three rivers, offering some of the state's best fishing, drawing anglers from around the world to the "Quality Waters" area of the San Juan River. Golfers enjoy Pinon Hills Golf Course, one of only eight five star public courses in the US. Many people enjoy ski areas in the region... Purgatory, Wolf Creek and Telluride.

The Four Corners area is renowned for its pleasant climate. Low humidity and warm temperatures combine to make this area an enjoyable destination during any season. Southwest informality prevails, jackets and sweaters are advisable for activities in the cooler evenings. Farmington (elevation 5,395ft.) has an average of 273 sunny days and an average snowfall of only 12.3 inches per year.
